Here is another triolet, this time on Matthew 15:21-28. I am posting this poem both here and at my Substack.
The Canaanite Woman’s Faith
Lord, let me have the children’s bread, Though no more worthy than a dog. Dogs, like children, must be fed. Please, let me have a crust of bread. Faith transforms dogs to sheep instead. My worth is weak; my faith is strong: Let me, then, share the children’s bread, Though no more worthy than a dog.
