Here is another triolet, this time on Psalm 51:4. I am posting this poem both here and at my Substack.

After the Prophet’s Visit

Against you only have I sinned
And done this evil in your sight.
My old excuses have worn thin;
Against you only have I sinned.
“You are the man,” the prophet dinned
Into my ears. Deeds black as night
I’ve done against you. I have sinned
And done this evil in your sight.
